Daily Prayer

TODAY I WILL KEEP YOUR WORD NEAR TO MY HEART.

DEAR LORD,

Your word is near to me and fills my heart with joy! I am so thankful for your word that brings life to me each and every day. I feel you close to me as I keep your word close to my heart. Thank you for teaching me truth that is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path.

I will keep your precepts and write your laws upon my heart so that I can experience all you want for me. You have written me love letters for me to read and cherish deep within me. My soul is nourished as I draw closer. My hunger for you is real and the need to know you more is met when I stay in touch with you.

One day I will see all that you have promised me. My faith will become my eyes when that day arrives. Until then, I will be encouraged by my faith as I press on to the prize of knowing you more each day. I am standing on your promises as I read them and apply them to my life today. Greater things are possible when I love you with all my heart, soul and mind!
