Daily Prayer

“Cast all your anxieties on him,

because he cares for you.”

1 Peter 5:7

Dear Heavenly Father,

I will give You all my cares and concerns because You want to take them from me. You have peace waiting for me when I let go of worry, fear and restlessness. I will say goodbye to my burdens and hello to new peace that will touch my soul as I cast everything to You. Only You will calm my anxious heart once again. I am sorry that I keep taking back all those things that I gave to You once before. I need to let go once and for all. Lord, help me to be free from all that is weighing me down! I praise You for Your calming Spirit in me that settles my soul and brings peace!
