PRAYER FOR PERSEVERANCE

Pray this promise:

“Therefore since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders us and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.”

Hebrews 12:1

Pray this prayer:

Dear Heavenly Father,

I need perseverance to keep going. It is so easy to just give up without Your constant companionship. But I can run my race with endurance with You by my side. Thank You for asking me to co-labor with You to help build Your Kingdom. You need workers who will not grow weary of doing Your will on earth. The field is ready for harvest and You have given me the strength to finish the work You began in me. I will throw off the weight of sin from my past and set my eyes on You, Lord Jesus! I am running this race set before me with new hope and strength because I have the living power of the Holy Spirit alive in me! I am free indeed!
