Daily Prayer

I WILL HUMBLE MYSELF BEFORE YOU AND CONSIDER OTHERS MORE IMPORTANT THAN MYSELF.

DEAR LORD,

You have asked me to come before you humbly and let you show me the better way. When I live to please you, others become more important than myself. As I give more and consider others more significant than myself, I feel your joy deep inside me. I know that your ways are higher than mine and that brings me hope!

Peace passes over me when I take my thoughts captive to you. As I keep you close in my heart, my mind becomes stayed on you in all that I do. My actions fall in line with how you want me to live as I seek you first. You want me to live with a humble heart of service to others above self.

I will do all things with a heart for you and not let rivalry or conceit enter my heart. As I grow closer to you, LORD, your Spirit calls me higher. Thank you for letting your Spirit fall on me to give me greater peace and direction. I am living in the light of your truth when I let you lead me on the path that leads to life!
