Daily Prayer

TODAY I WILL TAKE UP MY CROSS AND FOLLOW YOU LORD.

DEAR LORD,

You have sacrificed much for me. I am graced and humbled by how much you love me. You suffered so that I could be free from my sins. Oh how I love you and praise you for loving me the way you do! I will take up my cross and follow you.

There are so many ways I can show my love for you. One of those ways is by sacrificing self for more of you. You want to create a new Spirit within me as I surrender to you. I see the beauty that comes from more of your Spirit working inside of me.

Help me to grow closer to you so that my desires become yours. I am praying for all to find the joy that is possible only through you. I will continue praying that we all turn aside from the ways of the world and follow you LORD. You want our whole hearts and I will give you mine so that I can shine your glory!
