ARE YOU HOPING TO SEE UNITY AMONG ALL?

We live in harmony where there is unity. A community divided will fall, but a community united will stand tall. Together, we can strive for peace as we forgive and put aside our differences and offenses to work together for the common good. We all want to live in a place where love reigns because we all have the need to be loved. God created us with this human need. Love mends broken hearts and broken relationships. It starts with a heart filled with love. As we join together and put forth effort to work for unity, our hearts will come together and the goodness of the Lord will shine forth over all! 

Are you hoping to see unity among people where you live? Is it possible to love neighbors you disagree with or forgive those who have hurt you?Is peace possible where there is so much division? Yes, all things are possible with God. In fact, nothing is impossible for God. Unity is possible for all who believe in the God of the impossible. You can see unity as you come together with an open heart to live in harmony. Instead of complaining, how about looking for the good in every situation. Start the day with positive thinking instead of allowing negative thoughts to enter your mind and come out of your mouth. Notice the beauty around you. Feel the love of God warm your heart as you allow His love to embrace you. Give thanks for the many people who have fought for your freedom, including your Savior, Jesus Christ. He has already won the victory for you to be free, so let go of your chains and hold on to the promise of unity through Christ! 

Dear Lord, 

My prayer is to see unity where there is so much division.  As we come together in love, You can make a way where there seems to be no way. You created us all with unique qualities, talents and gifts so that we can all work together as one body. We all need each other in this world where love does not always reign. Your love for us has conquered all our sins, so help us to live free in You! In ACTS 2:44, Your word comes alive as it reads,

“ALL WHO BELIEVED WERE TOGETHER AND THEY HAD ALL THINGS IN COMMON.”

Let us all come together and believe that because of Your love for us, we can set aside our self- serving agenda and use our gifts and talents to serve You! It is true that united we will stand, but divided we will fall!
