WHY MUST YOU WAIT?

Waiting for answers is hard. We all like to get answers to our prayers as soon as they are prayed. We want to know why we must wait so long. But, as we wait upon the Lord, we develop integrity of heart and uprightness of character. The more we trust our Lord to protect us and guide us, the more He preserves us and promises to be a refuge for us in times of trouble. Our persistent prayers help us grow closer to our Lord as our relationship with Him deepens. We depend more on the Lord as we wait with patience for His will to be done in His timing for His glory! There is hope in the waiting!

Are you waiting for answers? Do you need the Lord to preserve you from trouble? Have you made the choice to follow Him with all integrity and uprightness even when you are tempted? The Lord wants you to wait upon Him. Let Him build you up with His love and encouragement as you are waiting for answers. He will strengthen you to endure whatever you are facing. He will preserve you from trouble as you keep close to Him. When the temptations come, He will give you a way out. Wait upon the Lord by trusting His plan even when you have no answers. All things will work out for good for those who love the Lord and are called according to His purpose. Stay the course with all integrity and uprightness for your answers are coming!

Dear Lord,

As I pray I know that I must wait upon You and Your will to be done. Your timing is best for me. As I wait, I will trust You more. PSALM 25:21 gives me direction as I read,

“MAY INTEGRITY AND UPRIGHTNESS PRESERVE ME; FOR I WAIT FOR YOU.” I will walk in the way that pleases You. I will grow in grace and love as Your plan unfolds for me just at the right time. My waiting will build my integrity and uprightness as I look up to You for my hope in this storm. I will praise You with all my heart and magnify You with all my soul!
