HOW CAN YOU BE RESTORED?

There are times in our life when we look around and realize that we are missing something that we once had present in us. We are restless and run ragged and need rest and restoration. We might look back to a time in our life where we felt peace and want to be restored again to that place of peace. There was something different then and it is not present in us today. Could it be that we were walking closer to our Lord in those times? Was our life full of hope because we followed the Lord and let Him live in us? Were we fulfilled because our relationship to our Lord was alive and real in our lives?

If it seems like the world and its ways has pulled you away from the arms of perfect peace and gentle love of your Lord, let Him restore you to Himself. Only the Lord of all can restore you to that place where you can find rest and His perfect peace. It is never too late to go back to your first love. He is always waiting for you. In fact, He has been praying for you to return to His arms of grace.

Dear Lord,

Help me to come back to You. I know that You will restore me as I pray for the hope of restoration found in Lamentations 5:21, “RESTORE US TO YOURSELF, O LORD, THAT WE MAY BE RESTORED.” You always hear my prayers and I know that You will answer me. I need You, Lord, to rescue me and give me rest. I believe You will restore me to the place where I once was before and bring me even closer to You now as I let go and let You live in me. I want to come back to You! Restore me to Yourself!
