Daily Prayer

TODAY I WILL SEEK REFUGE AND STRENGTH AS I PUT ON THE SHIELD OF THE LORD.

DEAR LORD,

You are my shield and my portion and I will find my rest in you. You lift my head up just when I need extra strength and encouragement. You bring me out of the waters when I feel like I am drowning. Thank you for rescuing me!

I will put my faith in you so that I can live fearlessly. I will trust you with all of my heart and lean not on my own understanding. Be my eyes so that I can see and my ears so that I can hear.

You are showing me something new and I do see it. I hear your voice calling me out. You have created me new so that I can see and hear. I am new in CHRIST in this new year! I will trust and obey you my LORD as you are the lifter of my heart and soul!
