Daily Prayer

TODAY I WILL GUARD MY MOUTH AND MY HEART SO THAT WHAT FLOWS FROM EACH IS PLEASING IN YOUR SIGHT.

DEAR LORD,

You faithfully watch over me day and night and I am humbled and graced knowing you love and care for me that much. Help me to speak words that are pleasing to you LORD. Guard my tongue before I say anything that would hurt you. It is easy to speak without thinking about how you would feel about what I say. Let the words that come from me be a blessing to you!

I want my thoughts to be on those things that are good, lovely, pure, true and commendable which flow from you. As my heart grows closer to you, I know that I will meditate more on these things that honor you. Thank you for showing me the good that flows from a heart that is connected to you. I can live freely when my heart is yours even with all  the challenges I face.

I eagerly anticipate a better day fully in your presence today. I am walking by the Spirit and letting go of my past hurts and offenses that quench the Spirit. I am no longer chained to my sins, but am set free to a life of joy and promise of peace. Thank you for your unending love and grace that has awakened me to new life in you!
