Are you shining the light of Jesus?

“Let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.”

Matthew 5:16

Dear Heavenly Father,

I need more of You! There are many things that are trying to get my attention away from You. There are distractions all around me. Help me to be a light instead of dwell in the darkness around me. I will draw to Your light so that I can see who needs me. Many people are searching for hope in the days in which we live. Open my eyes to see beyond my problems so that I can help where You need me. I know that I was called to serve You! I will rise up and stand firm with You, my Lord, my hope of glory!
