Daily Prayer

God wants us to rest in His peace. He gives us His peace so that we can sleep. Meditate on God’s promises and you will rest with His peace.

“IN PEACE, I WILL BOTH LIE DOWN AND SLEEP; FOR YOU ALONE, O LORD, MAKE ME DWELL IN SAFETY.”

PSALM 4:8

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank You Lord for the rest and peace that You promise me. When I am restless, I know that I need to be still and draw closer to You in prayer. You will comfort me so that I can find rest in You. It is so good to know Your peace that warms every part of me like a blanket of love. I am thankful for Your love that covers me from head to toe, inside and out. I can lie down and sleep in peace as I cling tighter to You, Lord, and am still in Your peace.
