Daily Prayer

“Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness,

for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.”

Matthew 5:10-12

Dear Heavenly Father,

Your blessings cover me as I keep sharing truth about Your grace and love. You protect me from evil when I keep my eyes fixed on You and press on with the power of the Holy Spirit within me. The negativity I hear only encourages me more to keep running my race. You turn insults into opportunities to share the gospel of peace because Your light shines brightest in the darkness. You love to see me spreading hope and joy to all around me. There is even more work to be done so I will keep fighting the good fight of the faith and continue pursuing my higher calling for Your glory!
