“You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you because he trusts in you.”

Isaiah 26:12

Christ gives us His perfect peace when we set our minds on Him and trust Him. He knows that our minds can be filled with many distractions, fears, and worries when we let other things rule our thinking. To set our minds on Christ is life and peace, but to set our minds on the flesh will keep us far from the peace that Christ gives us. Where are you setting your mind?

Dear Heavenly Father,

I will set my mind on You to find perfect peace. There is peace waiting for me as I draw closer to You. As I put You in the center of my life, I am further away from the things that take me away from peace. I discover peace as I cling to You, my Lord. Your peace settles my restlessness and comforts me. Peace be still my soul!
