Daily Prayer

“Let us run with endurance the race that lies before us, keeping our eyes on Jesus, the source and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that lay before him endured the cross.”

Hebrews 12:1-2

Don’t give up, but look up! Cling to Jesus, the source of your strength and keep your eyes fixed on Him. Jesus will not give up on you!

Dear Heavenly Father,

I will look to You for endurance as I run my race. As I keep my eyes fixed on You, I will know the way to go. You have helped me to see You as I keep going. I will not take my eyes off You, but will run with endurance because You are in my sight. I know that You have promised me an abundant life of joy as I keep the faith. I will press on with new hope and strength with You present in me now and forever. The road is narrow and long with many decisions facing me, but nothing is impossible with You, Jesus, the source and the perfecter of my faith!
