Daily Prayer

“Awake, O sleeper, and arise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you.”

Ephesians 5:14

Dear Heavenly Father,

You want me to arise to new life as I wake up spiritually with Your light shining on me. I have been restless and even weary because of all the distractions around me. But You want me to be still and listen to You so I can hear Your voice encouraging and comforting me as I pray. How wonderful it is to have Your Spirit strengthening my soul! I am stronger because I am listening and obeying You. There is nothing or no one that can take me away from the bright light of Your love. I am awakened and revived again!
