Daily Prayer

“I waited patiently for the Lord, he inclined to me and heard my cry.”

Psalm 40:1

Dear Heavenly Father,

I need Your help to press on with the work You have given me. I will wait patiently upon You as You guide me. You are my strength when I am weak and my anchor of hope when I feel like giving up. I know that if I stay the course and lean on You, I can keep going strong. If I go alone, I will eventually wear out. Thank You for lifting me up and giving me Your endurance for this race. I know that You are cheering me on as I run swiftly with Your power in my life! I will not give up, as I press on to the prize of my calling in Jesus Christ!
