Daily Prayer

“You shall love the Lord with all of your heart and with all of your soul and with all of your might.”

Deuteronomy 6:5

Dear Heavenly Father,

I will obey Your commandment to love You with all my heart and with all my soul and with all my might. I cannot just say this, but need to show You with my actions that I do indeed love You this way. I feel Your strength and courage welling up inside me as I put You first in my life and listen to Your voice of Truth. It is so encouraging to my soul to be close to you. Every moment with Your love enriches my life and blesses my soul. I will walk in Your love that reigns in my life because You love me. Even when I am heartsick and disappointed with what I see around me, I will keep trusting You with all that is within me. Your love shelters me from this storm. I am safe in You as I have made Your love my refuge. I do cherish You with all that is within me and love You with all that I am created to be!
