Delight in the Lord!

“Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.”

Psalm 37:4

Dear Heavenly Father,

This promise is one of my favorites that You give because of the closeness I feel when I delight in You. As I spend quality time with You, I cherish Your abundant love for me. As I sit at Your feet, I am filled wth peace that fills my entire being. As I worship You, deep joy rushes through my soul. As I pray to You, hope rises and washes over me. As I obey You, my faith grows. I will keep delighting in Your love with each prayer I pray. To be closer to You my Lord is the utmost desire of my heart! It is well with my soul. I love You!
