Daily Prayer

Again Jesus spoke to them saying,

“I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness but will have the light of life.”

John 8:12

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank You Lord Jesus for being the light of the world! When we follow You, we will not walk in darkness but will have the light of life. Oh how we need Your light guiding us! You tell us to trust You and You will help us navigate our life. You promise to be an ever present help as we take refuge in You alone. As we follow the light of Your love, You are first and foremost in our thoughts. Our hearts are connected to Yours. Our souls are engaged and alive as we let You work in us. Our spirits are uplifted as we let You empower us with Your presence.

We need You, Lord Jesus, now and forevermore!
