WHY ARE YOU SO ANXIOUS?

God wants us to settle our hearts and stop being anxious. He has promised to help us when we set our hearts and minds on Him. He will carry our burdens when we let go and give them to Him. He is just waiting to set us free from the anxiety and worry that overwhelms us. In a world where anxiety is alive and present around us, we need Jesus who will set us free! It is so good to know that He will calm our hearts and still our souls. Nothing can separate us from His love!

Are you worried today? Have you let anxiety take hold of you to the point of panic? Are you burdened and afraid of things you cannot change? Be still and let the peace of Christ enter your soul. He wants to take all your concerns and turn them to hope once again. You are stronger with the Lord than you have ever been! He will be your strength for this mountain you are facing. Keep pressing on to victory and let the peace of Christ rule in you as you go!

Dear Lord,

I have been afraid of what might happen which leads to anxiety and fear. Instead of letting Your peace rule in my heart, I have been wrestling with my anxious thoughts.

O Lord, calm my anxious heart and still my soul with Your peace. I will choose peace instead of fear. I will bring all my worries to You, one at a time. It is well with my soul with You in the center of my life. MATTHEW 6:27 reminds me to let go of worry as I read,

“AND WHICH OF YOU BY BEING ANXIOUS CAN ADD A SINGLE HOUR TO HIS SPAN OF LIFE?”

Only You, Lord can calm my anxious heart! I give my whole heart to You!
