WHY ARE YOU ANXIOUS?

When we are anxious, we say and do things out of worry and fear of what we think may happen. Our hearts are heavy laden when we let anxiety take over our thoughts and minds. The Lord wants to calm our soul with His peace. He will take all our fears and worries when we give them to Him. When we pray without ceasing about everything, God take it all from us. He is waiting to fill us with peace!

Are you worried about things you cannot change? Are you fearful about your future? Is your soul heavy with many cares and concerns? Take these thoughts captive and let God fill you with hope. He loves you and promises to help you as you pray about what is on your heart. Let go of fear and let God’s peace settle in your heart. Listen to the love of God as you pray about the things that you cannot change. He can change what seems impossible as you let go and let Him answer your prayers! Cry out to the Lord and tell Him your concerns!

Dear Lord,

Your Word gives me hope as I read PHILIPPIANS 4:6,

“DO NOT BE ANXIOUS ABOUT ANYTHING, BUT IN EVERYTHING BY PRAYER AND SUPPLICATION WITH THANKSGIVING, LET YOUR REQUESTS BE MADE KNOWN TO GOD.”

I know that You will give me peace as I pray about what is on my heart. My soul will be comforted and refreshed by You as I let go and let You help me. Only You can calm my anxious heart as I let Your peace settle all over me. My worries have disappeared as I pray to You, my Prince of Peace!
