ARE THE WORDS YOU SPEAK AND WHAT IS IN YOUR HEART PLEASING TO GOD?

God know our hearts. He is aware of what we are thinking and what words could come out of our mouth. He wants us to spread joy, peace, and hope with our kindness and love. He wants us to say things to encourage others and stir them up to good works. He sees inside our souls. He knows what we are going through like no one else. He shares our pain and our heartaches. He weeps with us! When we hurt, He hurts. He is waiting for us to let Him in our whole hearts so that when we speak, our tongues spread the hope of His love and the joy of our salvation that flows from our hearts!

Are you struggling with the temptation to speak out against someone who has hurt you? Is the anger welling up inside you and you feel like you are about to explode? Did you know that your words spoken out of offended heart can quench the Holy Spirit if you do not pray first and seek His counsel? God knows your pain and sees how others have hurt you. He loves you so much and wants you to find your comfort in Him. Before you speak out, talk to your loving God who is your living hope! Mediate on His love letter to you, His living Word. Read His truth and write it on your heart so that the words that you speak please the Lord. 

Dear Lord,

Help me to speak more words of encouragement and love to build others up. We all need to know that we are loved. I will receive all of Your love and believe all of Your promises to me! Before I speak, I will pray and seek Your counsel for the words You want me to say. I will meditate on Your Word so that I can hear You speaking to me. I am praying PSALM 19:14, 

“LET THE WORDS OF MY MOUTH AND THE MEDITATION OF MY HEART BE ACCEPTABLE IN YOUR SIGHT, O LORD, MY ROCK AND MY REDEEMER.”

Thank You for redeeming me, my Lord and Savior! My heart is full of Your joy!
