WILL YOUR CHOICES TODAY HONOR THE LORD?

We all have times where we face temptations. As we make decisions each day, we are one choice away from honor. As we choose the Lord our God and honor Him, He is well pleased. When we struggle, He promises to give us strength to choose the right way and give us the courage to stand up for what is right. Our Lord wants us to honor and worship Him! As we worship Him alone, He gives us strength to say no to the temptations and yes to righteous and holiness. Our mind will become like the mind of Christ and our heart will be filled with His desires as we grow closer to the Lord and let His love grow inside of us! Our Lord is waiting for us to love Him with all of our heart, soul, body and mind!

Do you have a decision that you must make that is weighing you down? Are you struggling with temptations that will not please the Lord? Do you need help to make the best decision? First of all, turn away from the temptation to sin and turn towards the Lord with all of your heart. Worship Him in Spirit and Truth and He will show you the way to go. In LUKE 4:8, the Word is clear,

“YOU SHALL WORSHIP THE LORD YOUR GOD, AND HIM YOU SHALL SERVE.”

Your decision is not easy, but you must stand up for is right. As you worship and serve the Lord, He will be your strength and give you the courage to stand. Stand up for Christ even when others are sitting down or walking away. Jesus has stood up for you, so stand tall with the Lord and you will not fall!

Dear Lord,

I am praying today that I will make the decisions that You want me to make. As I clothe myself in Your love and grace, I can make the decisions that will honor you. I will say no to self and yes to You, my Lord who sacrificed all for me! I will worship and serve You alone as I love You with all of my heart, soul, body and soul. Thank You for loving me and helping me be the best I can be for You. As I grow closer to Your heart, I will grow love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. I will worship and serve You, Lord!
